News!

Well.... I've finally found my Fiber Arts web site in my archives on disc -- Yay! Having learnt how to take better photos, you'll soon see improvement in that arena as well as a new site design. (Most of that will be in the coding, which won't be visible, but it will be a lot easier for *me* to maintain :) I'll also add more photographs of my current work

If you haven't heard yet, I'm now making the tools for fiber arts -- I'm a professional wood turner, and I make fine crochet hooks, nosties, needle cases, hair pins, and much more from exotic wood. Please check out my site at DaystarHandworks.com.

As a final note, my two fantasy books have now been published! They're delightfully friendly, a little bit silly, and a pleasant read all together. Check them out at MirrixWorld.com or you can purchase them through my store on eBay

Greetings.
Please, make yourself at home. I have a kettle of water on the stove, and it's almost tea time.

While we're waiting for the water to boil, would you like to have a look at some of my work? A fiber artist? Well, in short, I work with fibers -- all kinds: yarn, thread, raffia, even wire. I knit, crochet, tat, and weave them into wallhangings, clothing, sometimes dolls, but always something interesting.

I work in a style called Free Form. This means that most of the time I work without any pattern at all... combining fibers and methods to create a truly unique work.

If you'd like to walk with me, we can stroll through the galleries, and ponder the meaning of concinnity
